Ventures Corp. Warranty Policy for Laptops/Desktops/PC Parts and other
applicable items
This document details the
identification of warranty items, guidelines for warranty claims, warranty
durations for specific items, conditions that void the warranty, exclusions,
and the process for warranty claims.
1. Warranty
Identification
·
Warranty Sticker:
Each item released by C-Powered
Ventures Corp. is identified with a warranty sticker indicating the date it was
sold (month, day, year) or displaying a Serial Number.
·
Assembly Verification:
Units assembled by C-Powered Ventures
Corp. authorized technicians must also bear the assembly seal or a sticker
indicating the assembly date and the technician’s identification.
2. Warranty
Claim Guidelines
When claiming a warranty, customers
must adhere to the following guidelines:
Required Documentation:

Present the warranty slip accompanying the
item along with the corresponding Job Order Form (J.O.).
·
If the warranty slip is lost, present the
original copy of the Sales Invoice. A certified copy of the warranty slip will
be issued (a fee of Php 300.00 will be charged for the certified true copy).
·
Alternative Documentation:
·
In the absence of the Job Order Form (J.O.),
the defective item must be submitted along with its corresponding serial number
and warranty sticker.
·
Note: Failure to comply with the above
guidelines will void eligibility for any warranty claims.
·
NO WARRANTY SLIP AND SALES INVOICE = NO
WARRANTY.
3. Standard
Warranty Periods
·
All products from C-Powered Ventures Corp.
carry a standard warranty period of one (1) year, except for the items listed
below:
Ø Laptop
Battery: 6 Months Warranty
Ø I/O Ports,
Switches, CPU Cases: 1 Month Warranty
Ø Bundle
Items (e.g., Mouse, Keyboard, Speaker): 1 Months Warranty
Ø Table and
Chairs: One-Week Warranty
Ø Auxiliary
Fans & Heat Sinks: One-Year Warranty
Ø Consumables
(e.g., CDs, Media, Papers, CD Stomper Labels, Inks, Toner, Prepaid Cards, SIMs,
Broadband Modems, etc.): No Warranty
Ø Software:
No Warranty
4. Conditions That Void the Warranty
Ø The
warranty is rendered null and void if:
Ø The
product is damaged due to:
Ø Transportation
issues, falls, extreme temperatures, shock, improper use, mishandling, or
negligence after purchase.
Ø Natural
disasters or acts of God (e.g., fire, flood, lightning).
Ø Irregular
voltage sources.
Ø The
product is installed, maintained, operated, or used in a manner not in
accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Ø The
product is altered, modified, or repaired by unauthorized parties.
Ø The
product was not purchased through authorized distributors and resellers.
Ø The
customer is unable to provide the Sales Invoice or Warranty Slip.
Ø The
warranty period has expired.
5. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
Customer-Induced Damage: Including, but not limited to:
Ø Electrical
overstress (EOS)
Ø Bent pins
Ø Molten
wires
Ø Circuit
board cut traces
Ø Blown
metal lines
Ø Corrosion
due to dirt/moisture accumulation
Ø Misuse
resulting in physical damage (e.g., deep scratches, cracks, dents, broken
casing/cables)
Ø Normal
wear and tear, corrosion, rust, or stains.
Ø Software-Related
Issues:
Ø Preloaded
software (sold with the product) is provided “as is” with no additional
warranty.
Ø Unauthorized
or poor-quality DVDs/CDs.
Ø Pirated or
incompatible software/games.
Ø Computer
viruses or malware.
Ø Defects or
damage arising from third-party software or consumables.
Ø Damage
during transit or due to natural disasters.
Ø Data loss
or damage to storage media (customers are advised to back up data prior to
sending the product for service).
Ø LCD-Related
Issues:
Ø LCD panel
damage due to drops, spills, scratches, cracks, or dents.
Ø Minor LCD
defects: Warranty claims are only valid if there are more than 4 defective
pixels per million pixels or more than one (1) defective pixel in the central
area.
Ø Unauthorized
modifications or repairs.
6. Warranty Claim Process
·
Submission of Defective Products:
Defective products covered under
warranty will be returned to the supplier or manufacturer.
·
Replacement Options:
If an exact replacement is
unavailable, an upgraded model may be offered with the customer responsible for
any price difference.
·
Storage and Claim Deadlines:
If a customer fails to claim the item
within 60 days after notification, a storage fee of Php 50.00 per day will be
charged.
If the item is not claimed within 90
days, it will be forfeited.
